REQUIREMENTS
- Subject-matter expert in internet software development
- Advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL, ActionScript, Java, JSP, CSS, XML, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, DOM, Active X, Video Streaming technologies and associated editing programs
- Creative problem solving ability

EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of proven successful media buying/selling history showing profitable results and quarter-over-quarter contribution growth. (If selling must have experience with direct marketing clients)
- 2+ years experience working for e-tailer/dot.com
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with online media buys and analysis
- Comfort level with using technology in marketing, including databases, project management software, web tools, etc
- Knowledge of basic statistics helpful
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (specifically pivot tables)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create custom partnerships to grow the firm
- Come up with new ideas for advertising venues
- Pursue smart, aggressive, negotiations while building advantageous relationships in the industry
- Focus on campaign alignment with our objectives and provide strategic direction to advertising campaigns
- Analyze campaign performance to ensure alignment with firm direct response goals
- Provide detailed reporting on a regular basis
- Find new and improve upon existing advertising campaigns
- Manage vendor relationships, attend meetings and presentations
- Work independently to achieve superior campaign results

Responsive Media is looking for an Online Media Buyer to join our Marketing team.
The Media Buyer is specifically responsible for identifying and executing written agreements with cost-effective, scalable and targeted sources of online media than can provide qualified and profitable traffic to our websites In addition, the Media Buyer is also responsible for insuring that sources maintain the minimum acceptable metrics/goals.
Timeliness, attention to detail, analytics and accuracy are critical to this position. This individual must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to focus on short-term objectives and long-term growth opportunities.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Solid programming background (our tool sets include PHP, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, XML, Flash ActionScript)
- Content Management System Experience (Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress)
- Ability to build from Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files
- Understanding of how to write maintainable markup and CSS
- Experience with Javascript frameworks (jQuery) and SVN
- Experience building marketing websites, campaign microsites, emails and rich-media ads
- Ability to analyze, debug and desire to solve complex problems
- Understanding of web services/APIs a plus
REQUIREMENTS
